Infinix and Samsung announced that they formed a strategic partnership to develop an AI-powered algorithm for mobile photography.
At the heart of this partnership is the launch of the first ever 108-megapixel AI-Powered Advanced Deep Learning Algorithm (AIADLA) that uses Samsung ISOCELL’s imaging sensor software algorithms to significantly enhance the capabilities of smartphone cameras. By combining Infinix’s expertise in smartphone technology with Samsung’s cutting-edge deep learning algorithms, the companies aim to deliver improved detail, clarity, and performance, even in low-light conditions.

The AIADLA technology is expected to outperform traditional image enhancement methods by using sophisticated Samsung algorithms for more details and better noise reduction. In addition to being high-resolution, this promises that images captured will be clearer and more vibrant even in long distance shots. The companies say that adjusting zoom and cropping in the photo will also not lose too much quality.

Traditional smartphone cameras often struggle in low-light environments, so the AIADLA technology aims to reduce distortion and noise. AIADLA uses a massive, pre-trained image database for better calibration, alongside Samsung’s ISOCELL sensor technology, to produce high-quality photos regardless of lighting condition.

Whether you’re shooting in direct sunlight or dim indoors, AIADLA will dynamically adjust the settings to adapt to the environment. This flexibility makes it an ideal solution for photographers who need reliable performance in a wide range of scenarios.
Infinix revealed that the new AIADLA technology will be available in their future smartphones. As of writing, specific dates and model details have not been disclosed yet.
