One of Apple’s most interesting smartphones is now here in the Philippines.
The iPhone XR provides an acceptable compromise over the more expensive iPhone XS and XS Max. This thing uses the same A12 Bionic chip, which is easily one of the most powerful processors in the industry today.
It also retains the 12-megapixel primary camera from the XS variants, with Apple’s new Smart HDR feature.
On the downside, it now lacks a secondary rear shooter, has a less impressive LCD display, and an aluminum build. But other than that, the iPhone XR is pretty much identical to the XS when compared side-by-side.
This device has a starting price of Php50,990. Which is substantially cheaper than the similarly spec-ed iPhone XS, which is at Php67,990. So if you want the best smartphone that Apple currently makes, but you’re not willing to spend more for the novelties, the iPhone XR might be the one for you.
