HMD Global launched another feature phone from the Nokia brand.
This time, we have the Nokia 106, a straightforward and no-frills cellphone from the prominent brand (Yup, the term “cellphone” is still a thing).
Unlike the Nokia 3310 and the Nokia 8810, this new device offers a more basic, no-camera and no-internet connectivity, set of features. It sports a 1.8-inch colored display with an ergonomic curved design that should sit well in the hands.
Nokia is also bragging about its tough polycarbonate construction and inherent coloring technique, which mixes the device’s paint from the actual material, making any future scratches less noticeable.
And since this is a really basic smartphone, the Nokia 106 can store 2000 contacts and 500 SMS locally. You can also play Snake Xenzia to pass time, or try-and-buy other games like Nitro Racing, Tetris, Danger Dash, and a few more.
As for the internals, this handset comes with a MTK 6261D processor, 4MB of RAM, an 800mAh battery, and can accommodate two SIM cards.
