LG has announced a new smartwatch with a classic, all-metal design. Known as the LG Watch Urbane, this device is for the “sophisticated and cosmopolitan wearer that delivers unparalleled technology and performance.”

Can the LG Watch Urbane fulfill such ambitious and luxurious description? Basing on its specs, probably. Like the G Watch R, this Android Wear device comes equipped with a circular, 1.3-inch P-OLED display with 320-by-320 resolution and a pixel density of 245ppi. Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, the Watch Urbane has 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and 410mAh battery. It measures 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9mm. It works in tandem with smartphones that run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or later.

The LG Watch Urbane further employs several sensors: gyro, accelerometer, compass, barometer and heart rate sensor. It also has IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. The watch itself is available in either gold or silver finish and fastened in a natural leather strap. The strap can be replaced with another should the occasion demands it.

The LG Watch Urbane doesn’t have an announced price tag or market availability yet, but we’ll probably hear more about the device during the Mobile World Congress in March 2015.
