Realme-2-Pro-Specs

After its momentary halt due to bootloader issues, Realme is once again ready to release new updates for their Realme 2 Pro.

The updates were first rolled out in India. When the phone was released last September, it was only on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2. Now, the update highlights the Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 stable as a prominent feature.

Along with the Android 9 Pie and ColorOS 6, updates also included Chroma Boost Mode, Hal3/Camera2 API support, its own Theme Store among others. It also includes a security patch for May 2019 which is 2.71GB in size. You can also download the updates through a ZIP file via Realme’s website, if you haven’t received the over-the-air (OTA) release yet.

The Realme 2 Pro update is being released gradually, and some users are reporting issues about the updates messing with their device’s system. Realme responded by publishing instructions on how to recover from the bootloop.
