When was the last time you checked in on your mental health? Dealing with the constant demands of daily life can be taxing on the mind. If you need help, several resources are available to you. One such resource is the free counseling services by the Ateneo Bulatao Center for Psychological Services.

What free service does the Ateneo Bulatao Center for Psychological Services provide?

The Ateneo Bulatao Center offers free counseling service that consists of one to two sessions in which responders will lend an ear as you share recent difficulties and emotional issues. When you’ve finished sharing, the responders will then suggest strategies on how to cope with your problems and regulate your emotional responses to your situation.

The service center has been offering its free brief psychological services since the global health crisis. It also offers paid sessions for Php2,500 for the initial session and Php2,000 per session thereafter. However, take note that these sessions are not a recommended substitute for therapy.

Who can avail of the Ateneo free psychological service online?

The service is available for Filipinos who are at least 18 years old, even those who are not students and alumni of the Ateneo de Manila University. The free sessions are conducted every Monday.
