After almost 5 years of break, the Dragon Ball Super anime is reportedly coming back next year.
In case you’re not aware, Dragon Ball Super is the canon follow-up to the famous Dragon Ball Z series. It first aired in July 2015 up until March 2018.

The manga has continued and two movies were released since, but fans have been eagerly waiting for the continuation of the anime. Now, a reliable Dragon Ball insider finally spilled the beans on its much-awaited return.
According to DBSChronicles, the weekly episodes of Dragon Ball Super are currently in production as preparation for its comeback. Another movie is also in the works, but estimated release is still 2-3 years away.
DBSChronicles said that Dragon Ball Super will continue the story after the Universe Survival Arc. It’s currently unknown if the movie stories will be retold in the anime.
