The smartwatch revolution has finally started last year. At least it has forĀ severalbrands. While it seems like a great idea and has some of the features that you can do from your phone, the price seems way to high for what it’s worth.
Because of this trend, the average consumer tends to stay away from newer technology until the price comes down to something they can afford (or reasonable).
The Alcatel smartwatch that will soon be unveiled at CES 2015 might be the answer that everyone is looking for. Alcatel has created a smartwatch that will not only connect to smartphones, but handle daily apps, listen to music, take photos and include a wide array of sensors as well. Once connected to your smartphone will allow you to look at your watch and see incoming text messages as well.
The company is calling it as Alcatel OneTouch Watch at this point and promises one thing that other smart watches don’t…. a cheaper price. Complete specs and features aren’t available as of the moment, but Alcatel is promising a price point that is far lower than current competitors allowing the average consumer to finally be able to afford one.
