Users of the new OPPO Find X2 series will get a chance to beta test the early version of Android 11. This is a testament to the strong relationship between Google’s Android platform and OPPO’s own ColorOS.

The Find X2 series, which consists of the OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro, are currently the company’s flagship offering in the market. The best part is, those of us here in the Philippines can beta test the Android 11-based ColorOS software with the Find X2 Pro. It has a Snapdragon 865 processor, 120Hz screen, quad-cameras, and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charger.

Beta testing an operating system means that the software is not stable and may come with a couple of bugs, hence the purpose of beta testing. This will allow users to examine and provide input to help Google and OPPO to improve the software in future updates.

So, if you’re up for the task, or just want to play with your Find X2’s software, you can download the OPPO ColorOS Android 11 Beta 1 software.

So, what can you expect in the upcoming update? First, there’s the dedicated Conversations section that helps you easily view, reply, and prioritize chats from different apps. Floating messaging UI for easy multitasking. And of course, improved security features for better privacy protection, one-time permission, and more.

Android is also introducing new features on Android 11 that was already in ColorOS software before like the scheduled Dark Mode and built-in screen recorder.
