OPPO Android 10 ColorOS 7 update schedule [UPDATED]

In an event held in New Delhi, India, OPPO debuted its latest ColorOS 7 interface that’s based on the latest Android 10 OS.

The new OPPO Android 10 ColorOS 7 update will bring improvements both in performance and the visual appearance of the UI.

UPDATE: There are some delay in the roll-out because of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) issue in China.

Dubbed as the Infinite Design, ColorOS 7 will have a more simplified UI with customizable icons and full-on Dark Mode support.

OPPO also developed new oFas, oMem, and oSense that ensures a fast and smooth experience. They provide better RAM utilization by 40%, increased system response by 30%. Plus, the touch response in games was improved by 21.6%.

The new ColorOS 7 update will also bring improvements in photo and video capabilities. There’s the AI Beautification 2.0 and Ultra Night Mode that lets you take better selfies and night pictures, respectively.

OPPO also added some security features. Plus, weather-adaptive alarm sounds that automatically uses a more apt wake-up sound based on the current weather. OPPO even partnered with Epic Sound, an audio design company from Denmark, to improve the overall sound system of the UI.
