Apex Legends has crossed the 50 Million player mark in less than a month!
After a surprise release back in February, it’s incredible to see how fast Apex Legends was able to garner 50 Million players already. Armed with fast and entertaining gameplay, a unique pinging system, awesome characters, weapons, and the game being free-to-play; it really is no surprise that Apex Legends is killing it right now.
A lot of people are saying that Apex Legends is the Fortnite killer. Could it really be?
A graph released by Roundhill Investments seems to imply it. Fortnite was able to garner 50 Million players around 110 days after its launch, which Apex Legends was able to accomplish in less than 28 days.

As of now, Apex Legends is on the right path for Battle Royale supremacy but it still has a long way to go. Popular competing games like Fortnite and PUBG are widely available in different gaming platforms already.
From PC, PS4, XBOX, and Mobile gaming, Fortnite and PUBG are there. Meanwhile, Apex Legends is only available for PC, PS4, and Xbox as of the moment. This is an untapped market for them right now and might be resolved in the near future.
Also, let’s not forget the cultural impact of Fortnite on our society nowadays. Kids are doing various Fortnite emotes like the Floss or the “Take the L” dance in real life.
Do Apex Legends have what it takes to be the #1 Battle Royale game in the market? Only time can tell.
