Curious to see what midrange smartphones have dominated 2019? MemoXpress, one of the leading gadget stores in the Philippines, just released its Midrange Striker 2019 list of best-selling midrange smartphones this past year.

Although they only have one device made it, Samsung dominated the best-selling midrange smartphone list by MemoXpress. The popular Samsung Galaxy A50 6GB/128GB took the top spot and has been on the list for 40 weeks since its launch in March 2019.

The ever-so-popular Huawei Nova 3i is still here at the second spot. Overtaking its bigger brothers such as the flagship-killer Huawei Nova 5T at number four and the P30 Lite at number five. The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 also made it to the list at the seventh spot.

Tying with Huawei is OPPO, who also managed to put four devices on this list. Last gen’s OPPO F11 6GB/128GB model is at the third spot, OPPO A9 2020 at top six, OPPO F9 6GB/64GB at the top nine, and the OPPO F11 Pro 6GB/128GB at the tenth spot.

It looks like Vivo is having a hard time pulling customers in the midrange category — at least in MemoXpress stores nationwide. The Vivo V15 6GB/128GB is the sole Vivo smartphone in this list, taking the eight spot.

So, is your device on the list? Were you one of those who purchase a brand new smartphone from MemoXpress? If not, which retail outlet did you get yours? We’re curious to know in the comment section below.
