The Xiaomi Mi Mix is a very fragile smartphone.
Last week, Xiaomi introduced the gorgeous edgeless smartphone – the Mi Mix.
It’s incredible 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio appealed to everyone, as it made the phone look sleek and futuristic. It has a 6.4-inch screen and ceramic build all around, but apparently it’s not made to withstand accidents.
For a refresher, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it’s powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Get to know more of the Xiaomi Mi Mix here.
The photo was taken in a Xiaomi store in Hangzhou where it accidentally slipped in the hands of person testing the device. As the picture shows, the screen was severely damaged and the ceramic body took a hit as well.
Alright, let’s just cover it using a protective case! What? No!
Since the design is is probably the Mi Mix’s selling point, it doesn’t make sense to hide it behind a case. But we can’t blame you if you’re going to use one to protect it.
The Mi Mix will go on sale in China this coming Friday.
For those who want to get their hands on this concept smartphone, it’s currently available for pre-order at online gadget shops like Kimstore and Widget City.
