Fujifilm X-H1 — NoypiGeeks

Fujifilm is finally making some efforts to lure filmmakers and videographers. The company’s last release, the X-A5, was meant for the casual and aspiring vloggers. But this new one, the Fujifilm X-H1, is targeted towards crafty video professionals.

The Fujifilm X-H1 looks like a more serious-looking gear. It has a more DSLR-like look with its bigger build, but it still retains that retro appearance that a lot of Fujifilm fans love.

It uses a 24-megapixel APS-C X-Trans III sensor. However, the main star here is its five-axis in-body stabilization a.k.a IBIS. This makes it perfect not just for videographers, but for those who like shooting in low-light as well.

IBIS allows real video stabilization no matter what kind of lens you use. This means that you can use pretty much any lens that compliments your scene and be assured that it will still be stabilized.

Fujifilm also went all out with the X-H1’s video recording prowess. This camera can shoot DCI 4K videos and a Rec.2020 color gamut with 200Mbps bitrate. It also has a new film mode called Eterna, which takes plain-colored recording so you have all the flexibility you need for post-production.

The Fujifilm X-H1 can also record 120fps slow-motion videos at 1080p and it has an external microphone port for recording audio. It also has a 3-inch touchscreen and an electronic viewfinder to complete the experience.

All these are wrapped in a robust and weather-resistant body — something that we don’t usually in most mirrorless cameras.

They will be priced at USD3,999.95 (~Php210,000) and USD4,299.95 (~Php225,000), respectively. Both are scheduled to be released in the coming months.
