Philippine’s Land Transportation Office (LTO) will be using the help of the internet to improve their services.
The government agency now aims to make scheduling appointments for driver’s license application or renewal easier by bringing this process online.
The new feature is dubbed as the Online Personal Appointment and Scheduling System (PASS) which allows citizens who want to apply or renew their driver’s license to schedule an appointment with the LTO online.
Applicants can go to the official LTO website, fill up the required information, select your chosen LTO site, and pick the date and time slot for the appointment.
Once confirmed, you can head on to the preferred LTO site on the date and time that you scheduled where there’s a dedicated lane for those who have set an appointment online.
As part of the pilot testing, this service will only be available in four district offices. These LTO sites include the district offices in Pasig, Marikina, Novaliches, and the Muntinlupa Extension. More sites are expected to be announced soon.
