Samsung is expected to release a new midrange smartphone. And it looks like there’s a lot of reason to be excited as the rumored device, the Samsung Galaxy A6 2018, will be a mixture of Samsung’s current smartphones.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy A6 2018 will be a midrange offering. But despite that, it will have some features that its high-end bigger brothers have.
To start, we have its dual-cameras at the back. Both have 16-megapixel sensors but with a f/1.7 and f/1.9 apertures, respectively. They are also in the same orientation as with the Galaxy S9 Plus, with the fingerprint scanner sitting below them.
But unlike their flagship line, the Galaxy A6 2018’s design leans on Samsung’s other midrange offerings like the Galaxy J7 Pro. It has an all-metal body and is available in Blue, Black, and Gold.

The display in the front has a size of 5.6-inches with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It only has an HD+ resolution instead of Full HD+, but was able to make up for it by having a Super AMOLED panel.
The leaked information didn’t cover the processor, but we expect Samsung to use their own Exynos 7870 chipset on this phone. On the other hand, the Galaxy A6+ 2018 version will most likely run on a more reliable Snapdragon 600-series chipset, and a bumped up screen of 6-inches with FHD+ resolution.
Samsung hasn’t provided us with a launch date yet. So until the Samsung Galaxy A6 2018 gets official, we can only speculate if these rumored features are true.
