From book-style folds to flip phones, we’ve now reached the next evolution of foldable phones: the tri-fold.
After the market release of the HUAWEI Mate XT Ultimate and tri-fold concepts from other brands, Infinix releases theirs with the Infinix Mini Tri-Fold Concept. Unlike the others who went for a book-style final look, Infinix is thinking outside the box by making theirs akin to a flip phone.

The goal here is to have a smartphone very small it looks the size of a pager or a compact camera that you can attach to your bag’s shoulder strap, bike handlebars, and more.
Infinix is calling it “a bold reimagination of how technology enhances everyday life, evolving seamlessly between different forms.” It has three hinges arranged vertically. When completely unfolded, you get a tall screen, possibly 6.9 inches, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip6 or the Phantom V Flip2.

The outward-folding design enables features like dual-screen setups, lets you frame photos better, and more.
More details about the Infinix Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold concept will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 happening in a couple of days in Barcelona.
