It looks like Motorola just accidentally announced their new flagship device. On their official Chinese website, the new Motorola Moto Z2 can be seen together with its compatible Moto Mod attachments.

This reveal came after a month that the Moto Z2 Play was announced. Since it was just the “Play” version, we knew that Motorola still has something up its sleeves. And that “something” has now materialized with the Motorola Moto Z2.

The Moto Z2 looks very identical with the earlier Z2 Play. It appears to have the same all-metal build, with the pins at the back for the Moto Mods. The only distinct difference is seen in the back — the two sensors inside a thick camera bump. It’s not clear what are the camera specs are, however, it can only go two ways. The second shooter can either have a wide-angle or a telephoto lens. We can also expect it to feature Bokeh effect a.k.a Portrait Mode.

The Motorola Moto Z2 is also expected to feature the same 5.5-inch Quad-HD display of last year’s Moto Z. It is also being said to rock a Snapdragon 835 chipset, aided with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and an Adreno 540 GPU. Storage wise, the Moto Z2 might be available in 64GB and 128GB variants.

With that in mind, we can expect the Moto Z2 match the performance of the other flagships that are out today. The HTC U11, which has the same display resolution and processor as the Moto Z2, has dominated Antutu’s top performer list for the month of May. However, OnePlus 5 has already dethroned the U11 in the June 2017 list. This is probably because of the less demanding 1080p display that its Snapdragon 835 is powering.

Furthermore, it looks like Motorola will be introducing new Moto Mods alongside the new flagship. We’ve already seen the updated mods that came with the Z2 Play. However, it looks like Motorola still has something more. At the image above, you can see the Moto Z2 posing together with a Hasselblad True Zoom camera mod, a portable projector, Turbo Power Battery Case, 360 camera, JBL speaker, and the GamePad.

That’s everything we have for now. The new Motorola Moto Z2 is expected to be revealed on an event happening on July 25th.
