Motorola phones have been out in the Philippines for quite some time. But, it looks like the company is staging a grandiose comeback with the local release of Motorola Razr 2019.
The announcement was made on Lenovo Mobile Philippines Facebook page, which teased a silhouette of the Motorola Razr 2019 with the caption “Guess who’s back?”. For those who are unfamiliar, Lenovo bought Motorola way back in 2014.
Other than that, no information was given about the device’s local launch, including the Motorola Razr 2019 release date and price in the Philippines.
The post did say that we should stay tuned on the same Facebook page, which means that the Motorola line may arrive in the country under the Lenovo Philippines brand.
For a quick recap, the Motorola Razr 2019 foldable phone gained a lot of attention thanks to its nostalgic appeal to the people. The popular line from the early 2000s, complete with its clamshell design, was revived to the modern era that was made possible by the gaining popularity of foldable devices.
It features a 6.2-inch foldable screen, with a smaller 2.7-inch external display for your notifications and selfies.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of non-expandable storage, and 2,510mAh battery. You can check the full specs list here.
We’ll have more details about the device’s release once information becomes available. But considering its midrange-like internals, we expect the Motorola Razr 2019 to be cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, which has a price of Php79,990 in the Philippines.
