OPPO is probably one of the most well-known names in fast-charging tech. And for 2019, the company is proud to announce the latest OPPO 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 technology.
The previous SuperVOOC charger, which we saw on the OPPO R17 Pro, already delivered an impressive 50W of power. It actually dominated other fast charging technologies on its time. But with the new OPPO 65W SuperVOOC, the company is obviously is stepping it up a notch.

It also blows out of the water their VOOC 3.0 fast charging, which is found on devices like the flagship OPPO Reno 10X Zoom. It’s also slightly faster than what the MacBook Pro charger has, which is at 60W.
OPPO teased that this new incredible feat will debut on the upcoming OPPO Reno Ace, which will go official on October 10, 2019.
The company said that it can fully charge the Reno Ace’s large 4,000mAh battery in only under 30 minutes. That claim is highly plausible considering the amount of output it provides.
Speaking of the OPPO Reno Ace, this device is expected to be a high-end one. Besides its impressive battery and charging features, rumor has it that it will boast a flagship Snapdragon 855 processor.

It should also resemble the OPPO Reno 2 in terms of design and camera features. There’s the shark-fin pop-up camera and the periscope-style telephoto lens.
We shall learn more about this device once it becomes official in the coming weeks. For now, what we’re actually excited about is its 60W fast-charging tech, and how it will change OPPO’s smartphone line-up from here on out.
