Xiaomi will be holding an event on September 24, 2019, which will be the stage for the introduction of the new Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro and Mi Mix 4.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro is expected to be similar to the Mi 9 in terms of design, camera, display, and other features. All the things that we admired on the device, especially for a starting price of only Php22,990.
Since it is the “Pro” model, we expect to see improvements in the performance department. For starters, this device is expected to come with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus octa-core processor.
The battery should also be upgraded from 3,300mAh to a 4,000mAh one. Also, it’s been confirmed to sport the 30W fast wireless charging technology that the company unveiled last week.
Xiaomi will also reveal the new Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 on the said event. Just like its predecessors, this one will feature flagship specs and sleek all-screen design.
Rumor has it that it will have a curved QHD screen, possibly identical to the waterfall design that the Vivo NEX 3 have.
This is also the very first device to sport the monstrous 108-megapixel ISOCELL Bright HMX camera sensor that Xiaomi developed with Samsung.
Both devices shall also have 5G connectivity, or at least will come in a special 5G model.
Other than this two new hardware, Xiaomi is also expected to debut the new MIUI 11 mobile software and an addition to their Mi TV line-up.
Xiaomi is known for aggressively teasing their upcoming releases on their socials before the official launch. So aggressive that almost the entire spec sheet is already out before they even hit the stage. Let’s just wait and see what the company has in store for us.
