It appears that Xiaomi’s POCO brand is launching two new phones dubbed as the POCO F2 and M2 Pro.
The POCO M2 Pro was recently spotted at Xiaomi India website’s RF exposure page. It was also seen on the WiFi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG certification with a model number M20003J6CI.
The WiFi Alliance listing reveals that the device will sport dual-band WiFi connectivity and will come with the latest Android 10 operating system. Meanwhile, Bluetooth SIG certification shows that it will come with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
The letter ‘I” at the end of the model number means that the device will be headed in India.
On the other hand, the vanilla POCO F2 is also rumored to arrive anytime soon. It was recently certified in Malaysia by TUV Rheinland with a model number M2004J11G. The listing suggests that the device will have NFC support, 5G connecitivty, and 30W wired fast charging.
The POCO F2 could be a rebranded Redmi K30, much like what the POCO F2 Pro is to the Redmi K30 Pro. We’ll have more information about the POCO F2 and M2 Pro once they are available so be on the look out for that.
