The Realme 5 series will debut in just a couple of days. And for those who are already excited, new details about the devices have been officially revealed to further hype everyone up.
For one, the devices will be officially called the Realme 5 and 5 Pro. This has been revealed, together with some of its key features, via India’s e-commerce website called Flipkart.
The Realme 5 Pro will have a quad-camera setup led by a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 primary shooter. This is the same sensor found on the Realme X and the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom.
There’s also the 119-degree ultra-wide-angle shooter, a super macro lens that can do close-ups of up to 4cm, and the usual depth sensor for the portrait mode.

The Realme 5 Pro will also have a fast VOOC 3.0 flash charge, which can provide 55% of charge in just half an hour. Under the hood, it will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The actual model was not revealed, but we suspect it will be anything from the Snapdragon 700 series.
We also have its more affordable model, the Realme 5. This one will also have a quad-camera setup, with the same respective lenses. However, the primary shooter will have a toned-down sensor than the IMX 586 that the former has.
The processor is then expected to be anything from the Snapdragon 600-series. So, to compensate in its humble hardware, the Realme 5 will have a big 5,000mAh battery. We expect the former to have a smaller one, possibly in the 4,000mAh to 4,500mAh range.
Realme’s official Twitter page also revealed that both devices will have Nightscape camera mode and a waterdrop notch on its display.
