Samsung has undoubtedly improved when it comes to its midrange smartphone portfolio. This year, the Korean technology giant continues to provide us interesting and competitive devices in the line.
After various leaks, brand’s newest midrange smartphone, Samsung Galaxy A41, has officially made its way to the market. The latest device from Samsung brings great improvements from its predecessor, the Galaxy A40.
The Galaxy A41 has a larger 6.1-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and underneath it is a fingerprint scanner, as opposed to the rear placement on the last iteration. On the other hand, it retained the waterdrop notch housing the 25-megapixel selfie shooter.
When it comes to the optics department, the Samsung Galaxy A41 sports a triple rear camera setup. It is packed vertically as opposed to the rectangular frame of most Samsung A Series. While the back camera has a 48-megapixel primary shooter, combined with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and 5-megapixel depth of field snapper.
Under the hood, Mediatek Helio P65 powers the Galaxy A41, paired with 4GB of RAM and an underwhelming 64GB of internal storage. Besides, the handset has a 3,500mAh battery with 15W charging support and a 3.55mm headphone jack. Connectivity-wise, it has 4G LTE and NFC for wireless payments.
Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy A41 is also IP68 dust and water-resistant. It is still uncertain whether the phone will run the latest Android 10 together with Samsung’s One UI 2.0, but it’s probably the case.
The smartphone will go on shelves in June 2020 in Japan. It will be available in three colors namely; black, blue, and white. No pricing and availability given yet for the international market but expect it to be below Php20K.
Whether the Samsung Galaxy A41 will come to the Philippines, we don’t know yet. Samsung has not given a word on that matter as of writing. We’ll definitely keep you updated, so stay tuned.
