The World Health Organization (WHO) recently declared COVID-19 as pandemic, with 118,000 confirmed cases in 114 countries. A few days before the said announcement, the government has declared a Public Health Emergency amid the rising number of confirmed cases in the country.

The tracker provides the latest news and information about the state of COVID-19 in the country. These include the number of confirmed cases and Persons Under Investigation (PUI). You may also know where the confirmed cases and PUIs are located. Earlier this year, DOH (www.doh.gov.ph) and PHIVOLCS (www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph) websites have been free of charge.
As of writing, there are 52 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines, with two confirmed deaths. Majority of the cases are in Metro Manila.
