In a recent Facebook post, Vivo Philippines announced the arrival of the Vivo V7 — an obvious follow-up to the V7+ that was launched back in September.
As the name suggests, the Vivo V7 is going to be the smaller and cheaper version of the V7+. We can expect to have the same design and a FullView screen. But this time, it will be a bit smaller. And maybe this time, it will complement the HD screen — a resolution that we can surely expect from it.
And since it will have a smaller body, the built-in battery may have also been shrunken down a bit. However, we can expect the compromises to end there. The Vivo V7+ was equipped with a 24-megapixel selfie camera and a 16-megapixel sensor at the back. And hopefully, they’ll be making a comeback on this one.
On the downside, the V7+ only runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor — a very underwhelming choice for a device in its price range. Obviously, it’s quite impossible for the Vivo V7 to rock a better processor than its bigger brother. The only thing we can hope now is for it to be at a reasonable price.
Well, enough of the speculations. I guess we’ll just have to wait for Vivo to show what it has in store for us. The company hasn’t disclosed any launch date yet, but they assured everyone that it will arrive just in time for Christmas.
