It appears that OPPO is still continuing to grow its portfolio for the holiday season. In a recent leak, it appears that the company is preparing a new smartphone dubbed as the OPPO A79.
The launch of the OPPO F5 marks the company’s entrance on the 18:9 race. Shortly after its release, the company launched the R11s and R11s Plus in China. Now, they’ll be applying the same screen type on their A-series of smartphones beginning with the OPPO A79.
According to the leaked information, the device will have a 6-inch FHD+ screen with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. To put it more, it will pretty much look like the F5.
But their similarities don’t end there. The leaked information also suggest that it will have the same MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 processor, partnered with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
But since it’s not part of OPPO’s line of selfie smartphones, the front camera only has a 16-megapixel sensor.
