The whole Luzon island is under an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) since March 17 to combat or at least mitigate the spread of the COVID-19.

Since then, smartphone brand have closed their retail shops in the affected areas to comply with the government’s regulations.

Aside from that, brands like Huawei, Realme, and OPPO have announced that they are extending the warranty of their devices as a way of solidarity to the community. This time, another brand followed suit.

Vivo-warranty-extension

Chinese smartphone-maker Vivo said that it will extend the warranty of Vivo devices purchased in their officials stores until May 31, 2020. The extension applies to handsets with warranties expiring from March 16 to 30, 2020.

Smartphone warranty includes free services on repairs, software updates and replaces (if within the allowable time). Just make sure to bring your official receipt as proof of the time you purchased the device.

Stay safe and stay at home, everyone!
