A few months ago, YouTube ramped up its fight against ad blockers. Now, the company said that they are launching a full crackdown on ad blockers globally.
In a statement, YouTube said that they have launched “a global effort to urge viewers with ad blockers enabled to allow ads on YouTube or try YouTube Premium” as an alternative.
The video-sharing platform said that ad blockers violate their Terms of Service and highlighted how ads help support creators around the world and allow billions of users to see their favorite content creators in the platform.

To implement this, users with any ad blocker system enabled will see a prominent “Ad blockers violate YouTube’s Terms of Service” message on the video player and will not play the video at all unless they “Allow YouTube Ads”.
If you don’t want to see ads, you can try subscribing to YouTube Premium, which costs Php159/mo for the Individual plan, Php239/mo for the Family plan with up to 5 members, and Php95/mo for the Student plan — all with a 1-month free trial.
