It seems like Huawei is not yet done in unveiling all the new members of the Y-series for 2018.
In a tweet by prominent leaker Evan Blass, the Huawei Y3 2018 and Y5 Prime are shown together with the recently announced Huawei Y6 2018.
As a member of the Y family, it’s no surprise that these two smartphones are made to cater the low-end market. Not much information has been revealed about their hardware, but we expect them to carry a 720p screen, modest processor, and at least 2GB of RAM.

Based on the photos, it looks like the Y3 2018 doesn’t have the 18:9 aspect ratio, as it has the standard 16:9. Rear camera of the Y5 Prime can be mistaken as a dual-camera setup because of its frame typically used on dual-camera smartphones.
There’s no fingerprint scanner in sight, which means that Huawei opted to equip them with the face unlock feature instead.
Price and release date are still unknown, but considering that the press renders are now out, we expect that the official launch is imminent.
