In an attempt to swerve away from using the notch, Samsung is resulting in a few alternatives to relocate the front-facing camera.
The upcoming Galaxy S10 is expected to have a punch-hole selfie camera. Something that the company has already done with the Galaxy A8s. But in case that implementation doesn’t completely work out, it looks like the company is preparing a plan B as it’s rumored to introduce a pop-up mechanism with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90.

There are two renders that went out online. One with the single front camera elevating from the middle and the other one has the mechanism on the far left.
Considering that it has three cameras on the back, it’s more plausible that the front camera will pop-up on the side. Also, chances are, one of the three cameras on the back will have the trendy 48-megapixel camera like the Redmi Note 7 and tons of other new smartphones have.

The renders also show the in-display fingerprint scanner at the bottom. Which means that it will have a Super AMOLED screen, and about 92% screen-to-body ratio.
There’s no official word from Samsung about the existence of the Galaxy A90 yet. So don’t expect this device to come out at least in the next few months.
