Converge ICT intros an innovative fiber plan tailored for condominium residents, especially Filipinos and foreigners who are temporarily living or working in the Philippines.
The new Converge No Contract FiberX plans have a more simplified application process designed to service users living in multi-dwelling units (MDUs) such as condominiums. This will allow them to quickly have a fast, unlimited fiber internet service with less hassle.
From what it looks like, the no-contract FiberX plan is a pay-up-front service as it comes in a 6- or 12-month commitment with no credit checks or documentation needed. It also has a no-billing feature, eliminating the hassle of late payments, complex billing, and credit issues.
What’s more, those who will get the 12-month subscription of the Plan 2500 and higher will only have to pay the total amount of 11 months and will use a free WiFi 6 modem. Those who will get the plans below the Plan 2500 tier will have to pay Php1,000 if they want the WiFi 6 modem.

The website notes that subscribers are free to terminate the service at any time without penalties. The special plan also has no termination or cancellation fees. However, there’s an installation fee of Php2,500 and a modem fee of Php4,500 for plans below the Plan 2500.
According to Converge Executive VP and Chief Commercial Officer Benjamin B. Azada, the new service was tailored to “offer seamless internet access without the typical constraints of long-term commitments and complex application and billing processes.”
Azada also pointed out how the living situations in the Philippines have evolved as many Filipinos now prefer the convenience of living in a condo. He added that their no-contract plans are “perfect for renters” since they have “removed the worry of their connectivity contract period not being in line with their rental contracts, giving them more freedom and flexibility.”
