Back in June of last year, PLDT introduced their Google WiFi Plan 3799 to the public. But now, the company is ditching that offering in lieu of a more flexible bundle option.

For those who are unfamiliar, let’s give you a quick rundown on how the PLDT Google WiFi Plan actually works.

This bundle is perfect for those who are living in large homes, where a single WiFi router couldn’t just cover the entire area.

The Google WiFi bundle will come with three mesh WiFi points, which you can place on different parts of your home to eliminate WiFi dead spots.

Since these are just WiFi access points, PLDT will also be including their standard WiFi router and modem. This is the one responsible for feeding the actual Fibr connection to all three Google WiFi points.

Each plan will also come with unlimited, no data cap Fibr connection, and free landline calls and mobile calls to five Smart/TNT/Sun numbers (Pre-registration is required).
