A popular tech show host and famed leaker, Jon Prosser, unveiled today rumors pointing to Apple’s alleged Augmented Reality (AR) eyewear—a product made precedent by the Google Glass.

The ‘leak’ claims that the said product goes by the marketing name of “Apple Glass,” will sell at a price tag of $499, has the option for prescription lenses, etc.

Based on the leaked details, it is also suggested that the AR glasses would have lenses that react interactively to gestures.

Similar to the original Apple Watch, the accessory’s smart capability depends on the device’s link with an iPhone.

Early model of the product shows wireless charging capability and has LiDAR.

The developing Apple product is slated for a surprise exhibit in Apple’s anticipated iPhone 12 event in fall this year. But social ramifications of the measure in response to an ongoing crisis had placed a setback to the announcement for March next year.

Apple is currently eyeing a late 2021 or early 2022 for the full launch and release date of the Apple Glass.

Lastly, Apple is also said to be working on an AR/VR headset similar to Facebook’s Oculus, which could make an earlier release than the Apple Glass.
