It looks like Samsung is really a big fan of golf. Just recently, the company announced their new Samsung Galaxy Watch Golf Edition. A special version of their flagship smartwatch aimed for the linksman.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Golf Edition sports a Smart Caddie app, which contains details about 60,000 golf courses worldwide, so it can help you navigate through those locations.
And of course, it can also track your shots and keeps them on record, so you can monitor your performance each game.
The Smart Caddie app is co-developed by Golfzon Deca, which can also gather details about the height of the green right within the app.

Samsung claims that the new Galaxy Watch Golf Edition’s battery can last for fifty-four holes or a total of three rounds.
As for the rest of the features, it’s still the same Galaxy Watch that we have seen before. It runs on Samsung’s Tizen Wearable OS, has a Super AMOLED touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass DX+, and runs on Exynos dual-core processor.
The device also has an IP68 and MIL-STD-810G durability rating, Samsung Pay with NFC, and has an optional 4G LTE connectivity. This is actually not the first time Samsung has created a product like this as they have also released a Golf Edition of the Gear S3 last year.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Golf Edition will be initially exclusive to South Korea. It has a retail price of KRW409,700 (~Php19,700) for the 46mm model, while the 42mm variant will be at KRW389,900 (~Php19,000).
