Both devices have roomy 1.78-inch AMOLED screens, with a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels. The display itself is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, to keep it safe from a kid’s hand. It’s also water-resistant that can handle things from accidental water spills to pool parties.
Under the hood, they are powered by a QualcommWear 2500 chipset. It will deal most of the processing like running the built-in education apps and more.
Speaking of the apps, there’s a video calling app installed so you can stay in contact with friends or family. It will utilize the 5-megapixel camera on the top and the built-in microphones for video and voice calls.
The Xiaomi Mi Kids Watch 4 also comes with a forward-facing 5-megapixel camera if you want to play spy or just take casual photos with it. The premium Xiaomi Mi Watch didn’t have this feature.
To stay connected, the Mi Kids Watch has both 4G LTE support, voLTE, NFC, and of course, WiFi. Albeit it only supports eSIM. It also comes with a 920mAh battery that’s good for 8 days.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Pro also has an improved 8-megapixel forward camera, if you really want to take pictures with it.
