Cherry Mobile has announced its affordable smartphone with 700MHz LTE support.
The Cherry Mobile Flare A1 joins the O+ Presto 700 LTE as one of the cheap devices with great 4G LTE connectivity. But that’s not only where this handset is good at. In fact, it’s surprisingly decent for the most part.
It features a 5-inch 720p screen with 294 pixels-per-inch. The 64-bit quad-core processor is clocked at 1GHz and it comes with 1GB of RAM. There’s 8GB of built-in storage which is also expandable by up to 64GB through microSD. The camera is pretty good – 8-megapixel with BSI with LED flash.

When compared to its counterpart, the Flare A1 is definitely a better deal. A 720p screen from a WVGA is definitely a great step-up as well as the 1GB RAM. Cherry Mobile has also partnered with Globe, giving the handset a total of 5GB free data allocation for 7 days and 1GB of data for 1 year.
The Cherry Mobile Flare A1 suggested retail price is Php2,999, but it’s currently being offered at an introductory price of Php2,499.
