Together with the Honor 7S, the company also launched the Honor 7A in the Philippines. This means that, together with the 7X, the trifecta of entry-level Honor smartphones are now available for the Filipinos.
Unlike the 7S, the Honor 7A offers a more bearable set of features. It boots on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, with 2GB of memory, and 16GB of expandable storage.
The 5.7-inch HD+ display still boasts an 18:9 aspect ratio, which is an unsurprising feat these days, even on low-end devices such as this. Turn on the screen and you’d be greeted by its EMUI 8.0 interface with Android 8.1 Oreo at its back.
With the Honor 7A, you’d be unlocking a few novelties that you can’t get on the 7S. For one, it sports a sharper 8-megapixel front camera and a dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear shooters.
The former only had a face unlock feature, but this one has both that and a fingerprint scanner on the back.
