Huawei has an upcoming mid-range device in the Philippines, the Huawei Y7 2019.

The Huawei Y7 2019 is actually already a year old as it came out way back in March of 2019. The good thing is, that was before the US ban, so this device will come with Google Mobile Services (GMS).

Albeit, the hardware is a little outdated. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

The screen is a 6.2-inches HD+ IPS panel, just a tiny bit taller to the Huawei Y6s. It also has a bigger 4,000mAh battery. Although, it has the same 8-megapixel and 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel (depth sensor) front and rear cameras, respectively.

The Huawei Y7 2019 has an official price of Php6,990 here in the Philippines. Its release date is yet to be announced so stay tuned for that.

If you’re looking for another Huawei device with GMS support, you can also check out the Huawei Y9s.
