I just love it when local phone brands go all out where it counts. While the upcoming Kata i4 doesn’t rock the best octa-core CPU, it does max out just about everything else. As abundant as octa-core phones are locally these days, it’s kind of rare to see one paired with 2GB RAM and a whopping 32GB of frigging storage.

In addition to the monster RAM and storage, you’re also getting a 16mp rear-facing autofocus camera and 8mp front camera, as well as Android 4.4 KitKat and a 2,300mAh battery. About the only spec the Kata i4 cuts corners is the HD screen, but seriously, who can tell the difference HD and Full HD when the screen is just 5 inches?

So when can we expect the Kata i4 to arrive? Pretty soon I suspect since Kata Digital HK has started to hype the phone to what should be an imminent release. Hopefully, we won’t see it break the Php10k mark though.

  1. I’ve been using Kata i3 for more than 2 years now and it’s still working fine. I already dropped it multiple times like more than 10times and never had a problem. I’m happy with this brand , not well-known but quality was great. really good for taking selfie and video calls. I’m planning to buy a new phone cuz I will give this i3 to my sister but unfortunately i4 was out of stock in SM North and 2nd option that I have is zenfone selfie. A little bit expensive than kata but I’ll give it try. If something happened with zenfone I’ll go again with Kata.

  2. nakita na yan. 4gb internal nyan. sabi 16gb. pero nung kilalikot ko laman. 4gb lng. haha bili na kau. syng pera nyo.magzenphone n lng kau

  3. Bought this 3 months ago, the phone is ok “out-of-the box” pero hanggang dun lang. Running Android 4.4.2 with no update for atleast lollipop. Support from the manufacturer is worst (to say the least). Their Kata Cloud is no where to be found. When asked, they always say under maintenance, c’mon for 3 months now? It’s not LTE, so data connection when you’re outside is really bad. There are better phones within the same price range.

  4. Been using the unit for 5 months, suddenly shuts down…at sinungaling ang SPECS!!! 2300 mah Battery! no! its only 1000mah!

  5. Dont buy the kata i 4 unit i have quite devastating experience with it..

And its not an isolated case my co officemate buy same unit n had same problem… And their warranty is useless… Their after service is bad…
    Period sharing my experience…
