After months of waiting, the OnePlus 7 is finally making its way in the Philippines, thanks to Digital Walker.
As the name suggests, the OnePlus 7 is a toned-down, more affordable sibling of the OnePlus 7 Pro.
OnePlus kept some of the essentials from the Pro model to the vanilla one. It has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 48-megapixel primary camera, and an in-display camera.
To keep the price down, OnePlus had to remove the extra 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras, and replaced it with a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
OnePlus also used the traditional waterdrop notch in lieu of a pop-up camera. Plus, it has a smaller 3,700mAh battery with no 30W Warp Charge support.
Still, you might find the compromises acceptable thanks to its affordable price tag. This one will come in at Php26,990 when it becomes available in Digital Walker stores on August 7. For comparison, the OnePlus 7 Pro starts at Php42,990.
This makes the standard OnePlus 7 model as one of the most affordable Snapdragon 855 smartphones out there.
