OPPO-A72-Specs

OPPO has been releasing quite a lot of smartphones this month. Another addition to this long list is the upcoming OPPO A72. The said midrange device will launch in Europe, along with the other A series, the OPPO A52.

According to a German website Winfuture, both the OPPO A72 and OPPO A52 will be available in the market soon. However, there’s no exact date for the launch yet. Moreover, since these will be in Germany, both handsets will likely be available in most European countries.

So what does the new OPPO A72 have? Reports reveal that the smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a 1080p+ resolution. Internals-wise, it will come powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It will also have a decent 128GB of internal storage. Out of the box, it will run the latest Android 10 with Color OS 7.1.

In terms of camera, the OPPO A72 will feature a quad setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor. The other modules will include an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth shooter. Upfront, there will be a 16-megapixel punch-hole front camera.

The OPPO A72 will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a large 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. Based on the photos, the smartphone will come in a loud purple and blue gradient.

Given that this device has better specs than that of the OPPO A52, it will most probably come at a more expensive price, but a little cheaper than the Find X2 Lite. So better expect it to be above CNY1,599 (~Php11,5000).

OPPO has yet to disclose if the A72 will be available in the Philippines. Better stay tuned to keep yourself updated.
