Cherry Mobile posted a photo in their Facebook fan page indicating the arrival of yet another quad-core android phone in their line-up. As MyPhone A919i Duo was launched in the market earlier, it looks like CM is already preparing their counter attack.
In the photo, the quad-core devices were listed namely: Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt, Cherry Mobile Fusion Fire, and Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0. There is an unknown smartphone in the list but the blurred name is obviously Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 plus the “Flying once again soon” line suggests something that reminds me of the Skyfire. we could expect that it is indeed an upgrade of the Cherry Mobile Skyfire. The Flame and Omega already had their worthy successor on Flame 2.0 and Cherry Mobile Omega HD so we’re not really surprised by this new development as CM is already known for producing a follow-up on their existing devices.
For now, the only thing that we know about it is the quad-core processor but we expect that this will carry all the bells and whistles as well. What do you guys think? Do you have any guess on what the rest of the specs are? Will you wait for this device to hit the market, or will you buy the MyPhone A919i Duo? If yes, you better hurry as MyPhone’s sale is only valid until May 1, 2013.
