Vivo has a new offering for those who are looking for a budget-friendly device. Here comes the Vivo Y69, yet another selfie-centric smartphone but with a slightly affordable price tag.
Priced at Php10,990, the new Vivo Y69 will go head to head with OPPO’s A57 and Samsung’s recently announced J7 Core — all of which are around in the sub-Php10k category.
The Y69’s highlight feature is, of course, it’s selfie camera. This thing has a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter with a Softlight flash. It might not be a dual-camera setup, but Vivo was still able to pack a “Group Selfie” feature via the Panorama Mode. It also has a Bokeh Mode, just like the V5s.
Furthermore, there’s a 1.5GHz MediaTek octa-core processor that’s on the inside. It’s backed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. On the outside, there’s a 5.5-inch TFT HD display.
The device also features an ultra-fast fingerprint scanner and a decent 3000mAh battery.
It also has some software tricks up its sleeves. There’s the Smart Split 3.0 that lets you easily enable split screen mode by swiping down with three fingers. There’s also the App Clone, which basically clones an app and has a different account signed in to each one for easy access.
