AirPods Max is yet to receive a proper sequel as Apple’s 2024 hardware event only introduced a couple of improvements to its high-end headphones.
One of the key improvements for the updated AirPods Max is the new colors, which now come in Midnight, Starlight, Orange, Blue, and Purple. It also now charges via USB-C, just like the new AirPods 4 series.

Like the AirPods 4, the Max is also getting Apple’s new hearing-related features. For one, it can protect your ears from excessive ambient noise, like at live concerts, band rehearsals, and festivals — all while preserving their sound signatures so you can still appreciate the music, without the excessive volume that’s harmful to the ears.
Apple has also created a personalized hearing test, which can help with diagnosis using data you can show to your doctor. It also has a hearing aid-like feature that amplifies the voice or any sound that you should be hearing.
The new AirPods Max 2024 update has the same price of Php32,990 on the company’s Philippine website. Apart from the new AirPods, you can also check out the new iPhone 16 series, iPhone 16 Pro series, and the new Apple Watch Series 10.
