High-end smartphones have become really affordable, thanks to a lot of emerging brands from China.
One of those names is Realme, who just released its Realme X50 Pro 5G flagship-level device a couple of months ago. It features almost all the high-end features that you’re looking for in a fancy handset. From the powerful Snapdragon 865 processor, fast display, and killer set of cameras.

But, it’s not the only device of its kind. Realme’s parent company also released the OPPO Ace 2, another lavish device without the regular wallet-busting price tag.
Both phones will prove that you don’t have to spend Php50,000 (~USD1,000) or more on a proper flagship-caliber smartphone.

But the question is, which between these two devices should you get? We’ll help you find the answer in our OPPO Ace 2 versus Realme X50 Pro 5G specifications and features comparison.

The OPPO Ace 2 and Realme X50 Pro 5G are easily some of the most value-oriented premium midrange smartphones in the market. That’s thanks to their Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
However, it looks like we gotta hand the win to Realme.

You’re getting a few more features out of its cheaper price tag. The 8GB/128GB model retails for a price of INR39,999 (~Php28,400). Meanwhile, the Ace 2 with the same RAM and storage configuration retails for CNY3,999 (~Php28,700).
The top-of-the-line 12GB/256GB versions of the Realme X50 Pro and OPPO Ace 2 costs CNY4,599 (~Php33,000) and INR44,999 (~Php31,900), respectively.

For a cheaper asking price, the Realme handset comes with a 32-megapixel primary camera for sharper selfies and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide for group shots. On the other hand, the OPPO Ace 2 only has a single 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
The X50 Pro 5G also has a 64-megapixel main shooter, 12-megapixel telephoto, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide cameras. Meanwhile, the Ace 2 only has a 48-megapixel primary camera, a less sharp 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and lacks a 20x zoom camera.

The Realme X50 Pro 5G has other extra features that the OPPO smartphone lacks. There’s the 120fps slow-mo selfies, HDR 10 support, Super linear speakers, NFC; and Vapor Cooling System to prevent the processor from overheating so it runs on top condition even after extensive gaming.

But to the OPPO Ace 2’s credit, it does come with a fast 40W AirVOOC wireless fast charging. Realme completely omitted any wireless charging support on the X50 Pro.

Still, it’s clear that you’re getting more value on the Realme X50 Pro. It has better cameras, display, and other extra features that the latter lacks.
On the other side of the coin, OPPO Ace 2 is one of the first devices to come with a 40W AirVOOC wireless fast charging support. A feature that’s hard to pass, especially for the power users out there.
In terms of pricing, the OPPO Ace 2 is slightly more expensive because the price for its 8GB/128GB variant starts at around Php29,00. The Realme X50 Pro is a little cheaper at Php27,000 but its base model is only 6GB/128GB.
