Flagship smartphones have gotten really premium and fancy. However, not a lot of people can afford their ludicrous price tags.
Thankfully, smartphone brands are creating “Lite” versions of their flagship devices to cater to those who want a similar premium experience without paying the full price for one.
One of those devices is the recently announced OPPO Find X2 Lite. It may not be as feature-packed as the Find X2 and X2 Pro, but it’s rigged with all the features that can provide a seamless and reliable experience.

On the other corner, we have the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite. This toned-down version of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will try to cover all the bases without the high-end hardware that could have made it expensive.
In our OPPO Find X2 Lite versus Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite specifications and features comparison, we’ll see which between the two has the specs closest to a real flagship smartphone. Along with that, we’ll know which of the two can offer better value for your money, since the budget is our main consideration here.

As you just saw, the OPPO Find X2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite are pretty much the same devices.
The two share the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor. This is possibly the best chipset next to the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor — which their respective flagship brothers have.

Not only it’s fast and reliable, but the Snapdragon 765G also allowed both devices to have 5G connectivity. Although, markets who are still building 5G infrastructure — like here in the Philippines — might get the 4G-only model.
In addition, the two phones have a similar 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It would have been nice to see a fast refresh rate on these devices, at least 90Hz, since cheaper phones like the Realme 6 series have it.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite has a bigger 4,160mAh battery, versus the 4,025mAh of the X2 Lite. However, the OPPO Find X2 Lite has a 30W VOOC 4.0 charging, which is faster than the 20W charging on the Mi 10 Lite.

Even the cameras on these devices are almost the same. They share a 48-megapixel sensor for the primary camera and 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter.
But to OPPO’s credit, the Find X2 Lite do come with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. That’s sharper than the 16-megapixel front sensor of the competition.

But as we’ve said earlier, our main consideration here is the price. And with that, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite and its cheaper price tag clearly make it the more value-oriented option between the two.
Other than the sharper selfie camera and faster charging, you won’t be missing much on the Find X2 Lite since they’re almost the same. The best part is, power users can expand the Mi 10 Lite’s storage thank to its microSD card slot — a feature that the latter lacks.
