First, let’s discuss about the variants offered by these two devices. The Honor 8S is only available in 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, expandable up to 512GB. Meanwhile, Realme C2 has two variants: the 2GB RAM+16GB ROM and 3GB RAM+32GB ROM, both upgradeable to 256GB.
In addition, despite having different processors, these two devices are actually on the same footing when it comes to performance. MediaTek Helio P22 powers the Realme C2 while Honor 8S uses the newest MediaTek A22. On paper, MediaTek A22 performs better because of its quad-core processor in comparison to the octa-core processor of MediaTek Helio P20.
You won’t have problems using both phones for your everyday tasks like social media, messaging, emails. However, expect lags if you’ll use both devices for graphics intensive games.
When it comes to the display, Realme C2 and Honor 8S both use an HD+IPS. However, Realme C2 has a larger 6.1-inch display compared to 5.7-inch screen of Honor 8S. Both devices have a small notch in the front part of the phone for the selfie camera and dual-sim slot on the side.
Another apparent difference between these two devices is the camera. Realme C2 has 13+2-megapixel dual rear cameras while Honor 8S only has a single 13-megapixel shooter.

Realme C2’s dual rear shooter allows users to take portrait shots with better depth of field, making this a big advantage of Realme C2. Both phones similarly have 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
In the battery department, Realme C2 is no doubt the winner. It has a larger 4000mAh battery capacity compared to 3100mAh of Honor 8S. The two devices both use micro-USB for charging.
Honor 8C and Realme C2 (2GB+16GB) are similarly priced at Php5490, while Realme’s 3GB+32GB is priced at Php5990.
