Without a doubt, both the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and Realme 6 are equally interesting devices. They are easily the best bang-for-the-buck smartphones that you can get for the price.

However, between the two, the table above shows that you can get more value out of the Realme 6. Here’s why.

Realme 6

For starters, the Realme 6 has a faster 90Hz refresh rate screen. This will make gaming look smoother — the effect is also noticeable in browsing the interface and doing mundane tasks.

Speaking of speed, the Realme 6 features a MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor. It’s considered the most powerful midrange chipset in the market today.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro uses the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. A lot of benchmark and performance reviews favor the Helio G90T over it, however, thanks to its smaller build, the Snapdragon 720G is expected to have better battery optimization.

When it comes to battery, this is probably the only area where the Redmi Note 9 Pro shines. It has a 5,020mAh battery, which is noticeably bigger than the 4,300mAh capacity on the Realme 6. However, Realme easily takes the win back with its 30W flash charge versus the 18W on the former.

Another win for the Realme 6 is in the camera department. It features a 64-megapixel main shooter, which should offer better image quality than the 48-megapixel camera that the competition has.

But to Xiaomi‘s credit, the Redmi Note 9 Pro does come with a slightly sharper 5-megapixel (vs 2-megapixel) macro camera and a 960fps slow-mo recording.

Easily the best part about the Realme 6 is the price. The top-of-the-line Redmi Note 9 Pro with a 6GB/128GB configuration, retails for a price INR15,999 (~Php11,000). For that same price, you can already get the Realme 6 with 8GB of RAM.
