Indonesia will be the host to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) playoffs, the M4 World Championship, and while the event is still months away from getting started by early next year, Moonton is announcing the number of slots for participating teams from each region.

Per announcement, it seems that Major MPL regions like Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines will be getting two slots, contrasting that of newer MPL regions such as Cambodia and Brazil, along with the rest, which will only have one.

The upcoming event will be particularly striking as it sees no participation by the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Singapore, which previously had 2 slots, will also be joining the occasion with only one representative.

But while some regions will not be making their way and potentially leave a mark in next year’s competition, two regions are making a reappearance, Myanmar and Mekong. Each of which will be having a single representative.

Competing in the M4 World Championship will remain intense as ever, as the participants fight for the grand prize of $800,000.

The previous playoffs, the M3 World Championship, had been an interesting spectacle for audiences, particularly for the Philippines, as it sees two PH teams competing in the finals, Blacklist International and ONIC PH.

But while both teams showed formidability to earn the title of champion, only one emerged victorious, and is a privilege earned by Blacklist International upon the defeat of ONIC PH in the historic event.
